Our Blackout Fabric – for perfect room coverage and optimal light protection!
FEATURES:
The blackout fabric is a heavy, densely woven fabric that blocks almost 100% of the light. It's ideal for optimally darkening any room while also providing good thermal insulation. The high quality of our blackout fabric ensures long-lasting color brilliance and shape stability.
SEWING TIPS:
When working with blackout fabric, we recommend using a universal needle. A good option might also be a microfiber needle, which doesn't damage the fabric when piercing. Due to the fabric's weight, it's advisable to secure it well to prevent slipping while sewing.
APPLICATIONS:
Blackout fabrics are ideal for a variety of projects. In interior design, they are often used for curtains and blinds to fully darken rooms. They are especially useful in bedrooms to create the optimal sleeping environment, or in home theaters to avoid light reflections and create the perfect atmosphere for movie nights. Additionally, they are also ideal for other rooms where you desire more privacy, such as offices or bathrooms. Thanks to their thermal insulation properties, they also help save energy and regulate room temperature. In the fashion industry, they can be used for bags, coats, or other garments that require a heavy, structured fabric. The blackout fabric is also suitable for making light-proof covers, such as for technical devices or musical instruments.
CARE:
We recommend washing the blackout fabric at a low temperature and air drying. If necessary, it can be ironed at a low temperature.
Please note: Due to individual screen displays, the actual colors of the fabric may slightly differ from the image.
