Beach Towel Fabric – Absorbent, soft, and perfect for summer projects
PROPERTIES:
Beach towel fabric is a highly absorbent terry material, usually made of cotton. One side is typically soft and fluffy, while the other may have a smooth or velour-like surface. The fabric is skin-friendly, durable, and dries well – ideal for beach, bath, or sauna use.
SEWING TIP:
Use a universal needle (size 80–90) and strong thread. Due to its thickness, a sturdy presser foot is recommended. Finish edges with care or use bias tape.
APPLICATION:
Perfect for bath towels, beach towels, ponchos, sauna wraps, baby wraps, or bath mats. Also great for children’s products like hooded towels or washcloths.
CARE:
Washable at 60?°C. Tumble dryable. Do not bleach. Wash separately before first use to reduce lint.
