PROPERTIES:
Tartan, also known as plaid, is a woven fabric with traditional check designs in various color combinations. Depending on the fiber content, it’s soft, shape-retaining and comfortable. The pattern adds a British flair to any sewing project.
SEWING TIPS:
Use a universal needle (size 80–90). Match the pattern carefully when cutting. Easy to sew and beginner-friendly.
APPLICATION:
Perfect for skirts, dresses, pants, blazers, vests, school uniforms, scarves and bags. Also great for pillows, blankets and costumes.
CARE:
Wash at 30–40?°C depending on the fiber. Iron at medium heat. Pre-washing recommended.
