Faux Suede – soft, elegant and easy to care for – perfect for stylish sewing projects with a leather look!
PROPERTIES:
Faux suede closely resembles real suede leather but is animal-free, lighter, stretchier, and easier to sew. Its velvety surface feels pleasantly soft and gives garments and accessories an elegant appearance. The material is durable, wrinkle-resistant, and often slightly elastic – ideal for creative, chic projects.
SEWING TIPS:
Use a Microtex or universal needle (size 80–90) and high-quality thread. Use clips instead of pins to avoid pressure marks. A Teflon or walking foot helps achieve even seams. The fabric is easy to cut and usually doesn’t fray.
APPLICATION:
Perfect for jackets, vests, skirts, bags, cushion covers, décor, costumes or accessories in boho or vintage style. Also great for upholstery or creative DIY projects.
CARE:
Gentle wash at 30?°C. Not suitable for tumble dryers. Iron on reverse side at low temperature with a pressing cloth if needed.
Please note: Actual fabric colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
