Cotton Sateen - the luxurious, silky-shiny favorite for the utmost comfort and style!
PROPERTIES:
Cotton sateen is an exquisite fabric known for its luxurious shine, soft texture, and excellent drapability. It is characterized by its high thread count, giving it a smooth surface and a slight shimmer. Moreover, it is breathable and feels comfortable on the skin throughout the year.
SEWING ADVICE:
Cotton sateen is a medium-weight fabric best sewn with a universal needle. We recommend a shorter stitch length to achieve a clean, professional finish. The fabric should be washed before sewing to prevent later shrinkage.
APPLICATION:
Cotton sateen is highly sought after due to its luxurious quality and versatility.
It is ideal for high-quality garments such as shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts, and pajamas. Its luxurious shine makes it an excellent choice for special occasions or evening wear.
Cotton sateen is also perfect for home textiles, especially for high-quality bed linens, curtains, and pillow covers. Its silky texture and shine give any room an upscale ambiance.
CARE:
We recommend washing cotton sateen at 30 degrees and air drying. Iron the fabric at low to medium temperature and avoid using bleach to preserve the color and quality of the fabric.
