Cotton flannel - the warm, soft, and cozy fabric for comfortable clothing and home textiles!
PROPERTIES:
Cotton flannel is a medium-weight fabric known for its soft, fluffy texture and thermal insulation. It has a slightly roughened surface, which produces a particularly cuddly feeling on the skin. Despite its warmth, cotton flannel is breathable and offers high wearing comfort.
SEWING ADVICE:
When sewing cotton flannel, we recommend using a universal needle and pre-washing the fabric to prevent later shrinkage. Due to its soft texture, cotton flannel can slip a bit, so care is needed when cutting and sewing.
APPLICATION:
Cotton flannel is an excellent choice for various sewing projects.
For clothing, cotton flannel is particularly suitable for warm shirts, pajamas, light jackets, and children's clothing. Its soft texture makes it especially popular for baby and toddler items, including bibs, bedding, and blankets.
In the area of home textiles, cotton flannel is a good choice. It is perfect for cozy bedding, throws, pillow covers, and even curtains. Its warming properties make it ideal for colder months.
CARE:
We recommend washing cotton flannel at 30 degrees and air drying. It can be ironed at medium temperature, but bleach should be avoided to maintain the color and quality of the fabric.
Please note: Due to individual screen displays, the actual colors of the fabric may vary slightly from the illustration.
