Description

Bouclé - the luxurious and textured fabric, perfect for stylish and snug garments!

CHARACTERISTICS:

Bouclé is a specially woven or knitted fabric characterized by its unique textured surface and excellent heat properties. The fabric gets its characteristic "curly" or "looped" look from the use of looped yarns and is known for its softness and high wearing comfort.

SEWING ADVICE:

Sewing with Bouclé can be somewhat challenging due to its textured surface and loose weave. It's recommended to use a sharp needle and possibly even a stabilizing material to facilitate sewing. Additionally, the fabric should be washed before sewing to prevent shrinkage later on.

APPLICATION:

Bouclé offers a versatile application thanks to its unique texture and excellent heat properties.

In clothing, Bouclé is often used for stylish winter wear such as coats, jackets, sweaters, and cardigans. With its high heat retention and pleasant feel, Bouclé is perfect for snug and cozy garments.

In home textiles, Bouclé can be used for blankets, throws, pillows, and even rugs. Its softness and texture add a touch of luxury and coziness to any room.

CARE:

We recommend hand washing Bouclé or cleaning it in the gentle cycle of your machine to preserve the fabric's texture. The fabric should be air-dried and ironed at a low temperature.

Please note: Due to individual screen displays, the actual colors of the fabric may vary slightly from the image.
