Jacquard – Elaborately woven fabric with elegant texture
PROPERTIES:
Jacquard fabrics are known for their intricately woven patterns, which are not printed but integrated directly into the weave. This weaving technique gives the fabric depth, elegance, and high quality. Depending on the material, Jacquard is soft, shape-retaining, and easy to care for.
SEWING TIP:
Use a universal needle (size 80–90). Cut pieces along the grain. Finish edges properly as the fabric may fray slightly. Pre-washing is recommended.
APPLICATION:
Perfect for garments such as dresses, skirts, blazers, or elegant trousers, as well as for home textiles like cushions, table runners, and curtains.
CARE:
Wash gently at 30?°C. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out at medium temperature. Pre-wash before sewing recommended.
