FEATURES:
Cotton voile is a very fine, lightweight, and semi-transparent fabric made from pure cotton. Its soft, smooth surface and flowing drape make it perfect for airy garments and delicate accessories. It is breathable, skin-friendly, and has a slightly cool touch – ideal for hot days or as a lining fabric in combination with opaque materials.
SEWING INSTRUCTIONS:
For sewing cotton voile, we recommend a fine universal or Microtex needle (size 60–70) and fine thread. Since the fabric is very light, it’s best sewn with a narrow straight stitch or finished with French seams. To prevent shifting during cutting, place the fabric on a non-slip surface or secure it with pattern weights.
APPLICATIONS:
Perfect for summer blouses, tunics, dresses, scarves, curtains, or shawls. Also great as a lining under lace, chiffon, or linen. Its delicate character gives any sewing project a light and elegant touch.
CARE:
Washable at 30?°C on a gentle cycle. Air drying is recommended. Iron at medium temperature on the reverse side. To protect the fine structure, use a laundry bag when washing.
